Forest through the trees – a Velvia tribute

Here are my favorite pics from the forest panorama, adjusted for color tone to match the intensity of the original scene.

Kudos to Alien Skin for the Velvia 50 setting in Exposure 4. These are the first images that pushed me to use that particular treatment as a starting point. Up until now, Kodachrome an Astia have been my favorites in the real slide and the simulated slide film category.

These were way downsized to make them manageable on the web. The original stitched image crops are each ~1 gig and may be printable at poster sizes, should be lot’s of fun making this work considering I can barely open the files as the virtual machine memory hits >100 gigs.
